URBAN POLLINATOR & CULINARY HERB GARDEN - KNOXVILLE, TN

The business owners in the Colorama building requested a cheerful landscape that would welcome customers while streetscape renovations are underway on North Central St.

This garden features a diverse mix of native shrubs, perennials, and culinary herbs adapted to site conditions including shallow soil, flash flooding, periods of drought, cigarette butts, occasional foot traffic, and dog shit.
